This year, the occasion carries significance that extends beyond its historical dimension, as the concept of independence has become linked not only to the restoration of national sovereignty but also to its political, economic, and social consolidation, through continuing reforms and strengthening state institutions.
The commemoration coincides with the legislative elections, a scenario that reflects the importance of strengthening political participation and renewing popular legitimacy, as one of the pillars of the institutional reform path and consolidating democratic practice.

On the social level, Algeria continues to emphasize the preservation of the state's social character by implementing measures including improving wages, expanding the social protection system, creating grants for various groups, and reviewing a number of social benefits, with the aim of improving citizens' living conditions.
Economically, the country continues to work on diversifying its economy by launching projects in the mining, renewable energy, industry, agriculture, transport, and water infrastructure sectors, in parallel with financial and tax reforms and accelerating digital transformation, as part of efforts to strengthen economic independence and enhance the national economy's ability to face challenges.
On the legal and institutional front, Algeria has taken steps to modernize the legislative system and digitize the justice sector, in line with economic, social, and technological transformations, enhancing administrative efficiency and protecting rights and freedoms.
The state has also paid attention to the scientific dimension by enhancing the utilization of Algerian competencies residing abroad, considering them a pillar for supporting national development and keeping pace with scientific and technological transformations.
On the external level, Algeria continues to adhere to the independence of its political decision-making, while pursuing a policy based on building balanced partnerships with various countries according to the principle of common interests, while preserving its national constants derived from the Statement of November 1st and the legacy of the liberation revolution.
The sixty-fourth anniversary of Independence Day and the restoration of national sovereignty underscores that preserving the gains of liberation is not achieved by merely remembering the past, but by continuing to build a strong nation with its institutions, economy, and sovereign choices, thereby enhancing Algeria's position and embodying a developmental vision based on its historical heritage and looking to the future with confidence.
