Egypt's ambassador in Juba meets with South Sudan's defense minister to discuss bilateral relations.
التقى السفير حازم ممدوح فوزي، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية في جوبا، بالفريق أول تشول ثون بالوك، وزير الدفاع وشئون المحاربين القدامى في حكومة جنوب السودان.
جاء ذلك بحضور ملحق الدفاع العقيد أ.ح أحمد حسب النبي. إذ تناول اللقاء استطلاع سبل دفع التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين في المجالات ذات الصلة.
أكّد السفير المصري خلال المقابله، حرص مصر علي تحقيق السلام والاستقرار في جنوب السودان.
ومن جانبه أكّد الوزير، اعتزاز بلاده بدعم مصر التاريخيّ لجنوب السودان في المجالات المختلفة منذ نشأتها، مبديّا الحرص علي توطيد التعاون خلال الفتره المقبلة تحقيقًا للمصالح المشتركة.
سفير مصر لدي جيبوتي يعقد ندوة تعريفية بمنتدى الأعمال
وعلى صعيد آخر، عقد السفير عبد الرحمن رأفت، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى جيبوتي، Introductory seminar ظهر اليوم بمقر غرفة التجارة الجيبوتية، وذلك في إطار جهود الترويج لمنتدى الأعمال الأفريقي، الذي تستضيفه مصر بمدينة العلمين الجديدة خلال الفترة من 25 إلى 27 يونيو 2026.
This took place in the presence of the Chamber President, a number of senior officials, and Djiboutian businessmen who received official invitations to participate in the forum.
The ambassador stressed the importance of the forum as a leading African platform for promoting economic and investment cooperation among the countries of the continent, noting that it is not only an occasion for dialogue on economic issues, but also represents a practical framework that brings together governments, financial institutions and the African business community to explore investment opportunities, build partnerships and promote economic integration among African countries.
He also stressed that the forum will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the latest economic and investment trends in Africa, to learn about successful experiences in various countries, and to explore ways to benefit from the promising potential that the continent has in vital sectors, in a way that contributes to promoting sustainable development and advancing the African economic integration process.
The ambassador explained that the forum is of particular importance to Djibouti, in light of its sessions and discussions that address a number of sectors directly related to Djibouti’s economic and development priorities, most notably energy, ports, logistics and infrastructure.
