نقل الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) في بيان له قبل قليل، تصريحات الحكم أرتان، الذي أكد تمسكه بالتفاؤل رغم الظروف التي يمر بها، وتركيزه الكامل على مواصلة مسيرته التحكيمية.
وقال أرتان: “على الرغم من الظروف الحالية، فإنني متفائل وأركز على التحديات المقبلة في مشواري التحكيمي.
وتابع: أتقدم بالشكر إلى الفيفا والاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم على دعمهما المستمر، وأتعهد بالحفاظ على أعلى مستويات الأداء والتحكيم خلال الفترة المقبلة.
وذكر: “كما أشكر أسرة كرة القدم على رسائل الدعم والمساندة، وأتمنى لزملائي كل التوفيق والنجاح خلال منافسات كأس العالم، وأتطلع إلى العودة والانضمام إليهم مجددًا في البطولات القادمة”.
ممنوع من دخول أمريكا
وكان الحكم قد منع من دخول أمريكا لأسباب ومخاوف أمنية، مما أدى لاستبعاده من التحكيم في مونديال 2026.
وكان الحكم الصومالي ضمن قائمة الشخصيات الرياضية المدعوة للمشاركة في بعض الفعاليات أو البرامج التدريبية المرتبطة بكرة القدم، إلا أنه واجه إجراءات أمنية مشددة فور وصوله إلى أحد المنافذ الجوية الأمريكية، انتهت بقرار منعه من الدخول وإعادته على متن رحلة متجهة إلى تركيا.
The US authorities have not yet issued an official statement explaining the reasons for this decision, while some media analyses indicate that the matter may be related to visa procedures or internal security considerations followed by Washington in dealing with some delegations coming from certain countries, while others believe that the issue may be purely administrative and does not have political dimensions.
For its part, the Somali Football Association has not issued a detailed comment on the incident, but sources close to the matter indicated a state of discontent within the Somali sports community, especially since referee Omar Abdulqadir is one of the young names that have begun to emerge in the field of continental refereeing in recent years.
This incident comes amid increasing challenges faced by some athletes and referees from African countries during their international participation, whether in terms of visas, travel procedures, or regulatory restrictions imposed in some countries hosting major sporting events.
