Ambassador Hatem Yousry, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Nairobi, affirmed that the arrival of the convoy in Nairobi confirms the keenness to strengthen relations with Kenya in areas that are a priority for it and make a difference to the Kenyan citizen within the framework of the Egyptian role in caring for African brothers, whether in Kenya, the Nile Basin countries, or other African countries.
He added that the work of Egyptian doctors in Kenya, within the activities of the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development, came within the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ efforts to transfer Egyptian expertise to strengthen Egyptian-African relations.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development plays a pivotal role in supporting the health sector in African countries and partner developing countries, within the framework of the Egyptian state’s orientation towards strengthening South-South cooperation and transferring Egyptian expertise in vital development fields, foremost among them health care.
