Eric Chevallier, the French Ambassador to Egypt, along with officials from the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, will inaugurate the first session of the French-Language Education Forum in Egypt on June 13. The forum will see wide participation, including more than 300 partners, stakeholders, and key figures involved in the French education system in Egypt.

The forum is being organized amid growing political and diplomatic activity focused on supporting and promoting the French language, and it enjoys sponsorship and support from the highest leadership levels in both Cairo and Paris.

This approach is based on a shared strategic goal of expanding the network of French-speaking schools to 100 schools, along with preparations for launching the second version of the French language teaching support program “TrèFLE 2”.

A unique educational system

The forum addresses the remarkable development that Egypt is witnessing in the field of French language education, given its diverse and extensive educational network that includes accredited schools and institutions that teach French as a friendly or second language, which makes the Egyptian experience a distinctive model at the level of the Middle East region, especially with the continuous expansion of educational institutions and frameworks related to this field.

The forum also highlights the educational model based on mastering three languages, Arabic, English and French, as one of the most important elements that contribute to preparing generations capable of competing and excelling in the global labor market, and meeting the needs of international companies and investors.

Artificial intelligence and the challenges of the future

The forum sessions are expected to include presentations of experiences and testimonies from a number of graduates, along with the participation of representatives from various economic sectors, as well as discussions on issues of innovation in education and the development of teaching methods.

The discussions focus on the most prominent challenges of the future, foremost among them the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process, enhancing language learning at early stages, and adopting the latest educational practices, reflecting the shared commitment to developing the quality of education and raising its level.
