President Sisi said in a message published on his official accounts that he extends his sincere congratulations to His Excellency President Donald Trump, and to the government and people of the United States of America, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. .

Egypt and the United States have strategic relations that span decades, encompassing cooperation in political, military, economic, and security fields, in addition to continuous coordination on a number of regional and international issues, foremost among them being Middle Eastern issues, combating terrorism, and promoting regional stability.

President Sisi's congratulations come at the same time as the United States celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, a prominent national occasion that recalls the Declaration of Independence, which was approved on July 4, 1776, declaring the United States' establishment as an independent nation.
