Ambassador Hisham Al-Maqoud affirms the depth of historical relations between Cairo and Kinshasa

Hisham Al-Maqoud, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Kinshasa, held a reception to mark the seventy-fourth anniversary of the July 23, 1952 Revolution.
In the presence of officials and diplomats, the Egyptian Embassy in Kinshasa celebrates the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.
This took place in the presence of senior government officials, several ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Kinshasa, other directors of international and regional organizations, as well as a group of accredited defense attachés, religious and cultural leaders in the country, and members of the Egyptian community residing in Kinshasa.
Ambassador Hisham Al-Maqoud delivered a speech in which he emphasized the historical relations that bind Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and highlighted the developments and areas of cooperation at the bilateral political, economic, military and cultural level during the past few years, stressing the importance of strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries to new horizons at various levels, as well as Egypt’s continued support for the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In his speech, Ambassador Hisham Al-Maqoud also welcomed the members of the Egyptian community in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and reaffirmed the embassy’s continued support for them and its pride in the positive image they present of Egypt abroad.

In a separate context, the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Democratic Republic of Congo, headed by Ambassador Hisham Al-Maqoud, held a reception on the occasion of the seventy-fourth anniversary of the July 23, 1952 Revolution, in the presence of a number of senior government officials, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Kinshasa, along with representatives of international and regional organizations, defense attachés, religious and cultural leaders, and members of the Egyptian community.
During his speech, Ambassador Hisham Al-Maqoud emphasized the deep historical relations that unite Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Congo, reviewing the most prominent areas of cooperation between the two countries at the political, economic, military and cultural levels during recent years.
The ambassador stressed Cairo’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations and open new horizons for joint cooperation, reaffirming Egypt’s continued support for the Democratic Republic of Congo in various fields.
He also welcomed members of the Egyptian community residing in the Democratic Republic of Congo, stressing the embassy’s continued support for them, and praising the honorable image they present of Egypt abroad.
