Chadian peacekeeping police support police health center with medical equipment

The Chadian National Police Health Center received capital N'DjamenaOn Monday, medical support was provided by members of the National Police participating in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in a move aimed at strengthening the center's health capabilities and improving treatment services provided to members of the security forces and citizens.
The support included a specialized orthodontic device, valued at approximately 3.5 million African francs, which was delivered during a ceremony held at the health center of the General Directorate of the National Police in the Angari neighborhood of the 8th district.
The handover ceremony was attended by the Deputy Director of the Police Health Center, Captain Dr. Bakheet Mohamed Nasr, and the Head of the Dental Department, Dr. Iman Adam, while the officers participating in the peacekeeping mission were represented by Police Lieutenant Colonel Mariam Mukhtar Kilbo and Police Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Adam Tuli.
The initiative supports the police health system.
Representatives of the peacekeeping mission confirmed that the initiative comes within the framework of supporting the health system of the National Police and contributing to the development of medical services provided to workers in the security sector, which enhances the quality of health care and raises the efficiency of performance within the institution.
For his part, the deputy director of the health center appreciated this initiative, expressing his gratitude to the officers participating in peacekeeping operations for their contribution to supporting the health sector of the national police, and stressing that the new equipment will contribute to improving medical services and expanding the capabilities of the dental department at the center.
This step is part of the efforts to strengthen the health infrastructure of security institutions, which will positively impact the quality of services provided to members and beneficiaries of the National Police's health care.
A few days ago, the Nation Square in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, witnessed a ceremony for the handover of a batch of logistical aid provided by the United Arab Emirates to the Chadian government, as part of its support for the higher education and health sectors.
The aid includes 50 buses designated for transporting national university students, aiming to facilitate their commute and improve their study conditions. Additionally, there are 50 fully equipped Toyota Land Cruiser four-wheel-drive ambulances to enhance hospitals' capacity to respond to emergencies across the country.
The handover ceremony took place in the presence of the Prime Minister, along with several government members, including the Minister of Higher Education, the Minister of Public Health, and the Minister of Security.
