وأشادت نائبة الرئيس بالتقدم المحرز في القطاعات الحيوية، بما في ذلك البنية التحتية، والرعاية الصحية، والتعليم، والزراعة، والتحول الاقتصادي، مؤكدة التزام الحكومة بتحسين حياة الغانيين داخل البلاد وخارجها.
كما استعرضت أبرز المبادرات ضمن أجندة “إعادة التأسيس”، والتي تشمل برنامج الاقتصاد المستمر على مدار 24 ساعة، ومبادرة “الدفع الكبير” للبنية التحتية، وبرنامج “إطعام غانا”، ومراكز خدمات المزارعين، وسياسة “لا ضغوط رسوم دراسية”، وبرنامج “ماهاما كيرز”، والرعاية الصحية الأولية المجانية، وبنك تنمية المرأة، وجميعها تهدف إلى توسيع الفرص، وخلق الوظائف، ودعم الأعمال، وتعزيز النمو الشامل.
وأكدت أوبوكو-أجيمانغ مجددًا التزام الحكومة ببناء غانا أقوى وأكثر ازدهارًا وشمولًا، مع تشجيع استمرار التواصل بين الجالية الغانية في الخارج وجهود التنمية الوطنية.
Ghana is banking on traditional leaders to resolve lingering conflicts.
وفي سياق منفصل استقبل الرئيس الغاني جون دراماني ماهاما وفدا من بيت زعماء إقليم بونو، خلال زيارة إلى مقر الرئاسة، حيث ناقش الجانبان عددا من القضايا المرتبطة بالتنمية المحلية وتعزيز الاستقرار المجتمعي في الإقليم.
During the meeting, President Mahama stressed the importance of resolving disputes related to traditional sheikhdom leadership, emphasizing that peace, stability and unity are essential pillars for accelerating development in various communities within the country.
The President called on traditional leaders to continue working through established customary and judicial channels to address outstanding disputes peacefully and in an orderly manner, ensuring the preservation of the social fabric.
The President renews his commitment to the development of the Puno region.
The Ghanaian president also affirmed his government’s commitment to supporting the development of Bono region, noting the continued implementation and completion of a number of investment projects in the areas of road infrastructure, health care, education, and agriculture, in addition to local economic development programs within various government initiatives.
