Today, the capital N'Djamena witnessed the opening of the Idriss Mahamat Ouya Stadium following the completion of restoration and rehabilitation work.
The stadium was reopened after renovation work in the presence of the Prime Minister, several members of the government, and guests.

This took place in the presence of the Prime Minister, a number of ministers and government officials, as well as national figures, guests and representatives of various sports clubs and federations.
The opening of the stadium comes as part of the authorities’ efforts to develop sports infrastructure and enhance the status of national sports, allowing athletes and fans to benefit from a modern facility that meets the required standards for hosting various sports competitions and events.
