A number of gunmen killed 5 people in attacks New to the village of Tse Amin in the Mbaba area, which is part of the Gwer West County Council in Benue State, Nigeria.
According to local residents, the gunmen stormed the village on Saturday night and launched an attack on its inhabitants.
Five bodies recovered
A resident, who preferred not to be named, told reporters in a telephone interview on Monday that five bodies were recovered on Sunday, and many people were still missing.

He said: Five bodies were recovered yesterday, three of them men and two of them women.
Search for the perpetrators
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the leadership confirmed State PoliceFirst Lieutenant Odimi Edet, speaking to reporters in a telephone interview on Monday, said four bodies had been recovered.
She added: The incident is confirmed, and four bodies have been recovered.
Governor Hyacinth Alia, while hosting the freed hostage passengers at the Government House, expressed her sympathy for the residents of the area and urged security agencies to ensure the perpetrators are apprehended.
