The Egyptian Embassy in Mauritius celebrates the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution in the presence of senior officials.

The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Republic of Mauritius celebrated Egypt’s National Day, commemorating the July 23 Revolution, during a reception held at the Curepipe City Hall.
The ceremony was attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Mauritius, Jean Evan Robert Honglei, the Prime Minister, Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Gender Equality and Family Welfare, Marie Ariane Navarre-Mare, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Dhananjay Ramphoel, along with a number of ministers, members of the diplomatic corps, and prominent figures.
In her address, Ambassador Abeer Alam El-Din highlighted Egypt's remarkable progress in infrastructure, maritime transport, higher education, and innovation, emphasizing Cairo's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Mauritius. She also announced that Egypt will host two prominent international events this year: the second edition of the El Alamein International Aviation and Space Exhibition and the inaugural El Alamein-Africa Forum.
The celebration reflected the depth of the friendly relations between Egypt and Mauritius, and the shared commitment of the two countries to continue strengthening their long-standing partnership in a way that serves the interests of both peoples.
