Journalist Asmaa Al-Husseini, who specializes in African affairs, participated in the launch ceremony of the “ZOOM AFRICA NEWS” website, in the presence of a number of Egyptian and African officials, experts, and specialists in African affairs.
During her speech on the sidelines of the ceremony, Asmaa Al-Husseini expressed her happiness at the launch of the website, stressing that the media plays a very important role in strengthening relations between Egypt and African countries.
She explained that the interest in the African continent represents a presidential trend in Egypt during the current stage, but the media role remains a pivotal element in supporting this trend, through mobilizing efforts, introducing investment opportunities, and highlighting the reality of life of African peoples.
She added that Egypt needs to strengthen its relations with its brothers in the African continent, noting that the “Zoom Africa News” platform can play an important role in supporting and developing these relations, by providing specialized media content that contributes to bringing peoples closer and enhancing mutual understanding.
ZOOM AFRICA NEWS website officially launched
A ceremony was held today, Monday, to launch the website Zoom Africa News ZOOM AFRICA NEWS officially, in the presence of a number of Egyptian and African officials and experts specializing in African affairs.
The conference was attended by a host of officials and experts on African affairs in Egypt, headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs, Ambassador Karim Sharif, former Foreign Minister Ambassador Mohamed El-Orabi, and a number of Egyptian and African officials and public figures in Cairo.
For her part, journalist Sally Atef, Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Editor-in-Chief, announced the launch of the ZOOM AFRICA NEWS website in three languages, Arabic, English and French, to be the first African portal for news.
