Libyan Minister of State for Women's Affairs participates in the opening of the first women's club in the city of Benghazi

Minister of State for Women's Affairs in the Libyan government, Intissar Abboud, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the first women's club in the city of Benghazi, at the invitation of the club's president, Bushra Al-Barasi.
This took place in the presence of a number of members of the House of Representatives, officials from official bodies, along with a group of social figures and those interested in women's affairs.
The city's first women's institution of its kind
The club is considered the first of its kind for women in the city, aiming to provide an integrated environment that combines sports, cultural, technological, and economic activities, thereby contributing to women's empowerment and strengthening their role in various fields.

In her speech during the ceremony, the Minister of State for Women's Affairs affirmed that the opening of this club represents a qualitative step in supporting Libyan women and creating spaces that enhance their active participation in society. She praised the efforts made to establish this project, which reflects the growing interest in empowering women and developing their capabilities.
The minister also praised initiatives aimed at supporting Libyan women, stressing that cooperation between governmental institutions and civil society contributes to launching sustainable development projects that serve women, families, and society.
The opening ceremony witnessed a large official and community attendance, in an atmosphere that reflected the importance of this achievement, which is expected to be a distinguished addition to the cultural, sports, and social scene in the city of Benghazi.
