“Idemedia” and the Arab Federation for Media sign a partnership to adopt the “Arab Inspirations” and ”Future Media Professionals” initiatives”

The headquarters of the Arab Media Union Diwaniya witnessed the signing ceremony of a strategic partnership agreement between the International Strategic Center for Education and Media (Idomedia) and the Arab Media Union, affiliated with the League of Arab States.

This was in the presence of leaders from both sides, an elite group of media and academic figures, and a number of members of my initiatives “Arab Women Inspirers” and ”Future Media Professionals.”.

A shared vision for unifying Arab efforts

The signing of the agreement stems from a shared vision that believes in the importance of uniting Arab efforts to support qualitative initiatives, invest in people, enhance the role of media in achieving sustainable development, and build Arab media cadres capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in digital media and content creation.

Under the agreement, the Arab Federation for Media officially adopts the «Arab Inspiring Women» and «Future Media Professionals» initiatives. All of their programs, activities, forums, conferences, and workshops will be held under the umbrella and sponsorship of the Federation, thereby enhancing their reach and expanding their impact across various Arab countries.

The Arab Union for Media is headed by Dr. Youssef Al-Ameri, while Dr. Sally Gad holds the position of Secretary-General of the Union. The International Strategic Center for Education and Media (Idiomedia) is headed by Dr. Susan Al-Qalini, Professor of Media and founder and head of the “Arab Inspiring Women” initiative, assisted in managing the initiative by Dr. Ismat Qassem, Secretary-General.

A new phase of joint Arab cooperation

The signing ceremony witnessed the announcement of a new phase of joint Arab cooperation, which includes the implementation of training programs, conferences, forums, media and development initiatives, and projects in the fields of education, media, innovation, and entrepreneurship, contributing to supporting Arab integration, empowering women, qualifying future media professionals, and enhancing the presence of Arab competencies at the regional and international levels.

This cooperation affirms the keenness of both institutions to consolidate Arab institutional work, expand the scope of strategic partnerships that serve development issues, and build up the Arab individual as the fundamental pillar for building a brighter and more sustainable future.
