Consistent and confirmed information indicates that the President of Cameroon, Paul Biya, is in good health, denying the rumors circulated by some parties regarding his health condition.
According to the same sources, the president is expected to return to Cameroon this week to resume his official duties, amid widespread anticipation within the country.

His return is expected to end the recent controversy surrounding his absence, pending any official announcement regarding his upcoming activities program.
Paul Biya is 93 years old and is the oldest head of state in the world. He has been president of Cameroon since 1982. His last public appearance was during the national holiday celebrations on May 20, 2026, before he left the country on June 7 for Europe on a visit described by the presidency as “private and short”.
