Egypt sends a shipment of medicines and medical supplies to the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda to combat Ebola.
Egyptian support in the fight against Ebola

The Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development, in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, sent a shipment of medicines and medical supplies to both the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, continuing Egypt’s firm commitment to supporting its brothers from African countries in times of crisis, and in support of ongoing efforts to contain the Ebola outbreak and enhance the health response in the affected areas.
Solidarity with the countries of the continent
This initiative comes as an extension of Egypt’s vision based on the fact that health security is a shared responsibility, and that solidarity among the countries of the continent represents the first line of defense in the face of cross-border health challenges.

The Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development affirmed its continued role in supporting partners through development and humanitarian initiatives that reflect a well-established Egyptian approach based on partnership, solidarity and joint response, for a more capable and prepared Africa in facing crises.
