Madagascar's president praises the experience of Egypt's Future Agency
Talks to enhance cooperation in agriculture and sustainable development

Egypt's Future for Sustainable Development Authority received President Michael Randrianireina, President of the Republic of Madagascar, in Official visit Extensive discussions took place regarding ways to enhance joint cooperationAnd to benefit from Egyptian expertise in implementing integrated development projects, within the framework of strengthening the partnership between Egypt and the countries of the African continent.
The Malagasy President held a meeting with Dr. Bahaa El-Ghannam, Executive Director of the Future of Egypt for Sustainable Development Agency, in the presence of Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and a number of the agency’s leaders, to discuss prospects for cooperation in a number of development areas of common interest.
Egypt is moving towards expanding cooperation with African countries.

The visit comes within the framework of the Egyptian state’s orientation towards expanding cooperation with African countries, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to strengthen development partnerships and support African integration efforts in various sectors.
Opportunities for cooperation in agriculture and land reclamation

The meeting addressed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of agriculture and land reclamation, water resources management, and the application of modern irrigation systems, in addition to capacity building, the exchange of technical delegations, and studying the implementation of joint development projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development and enhancing food security in both countries.
President Mikael Randrianirina expressed his admiration for the achievements of the Future of Egypt for Sustainable Development Authority in implementing integrated development projects, praising Egyptian expertise in the fields of agricultural development, water resources management, and achieving food security.
The President of Madagascar affirmed his country’s desire to benefit from the Egyptian experience and enhance cooperation with the Future of Egypt Authority, in order to support the implementation of development projects that contribute to achieving economic development, improving food security, and strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
In addition, Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister Investment Foreign Trade, with the President of the Republic of Madagascar, Michael Randrianireina, discussed ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, during a high-level roundtable held at the Ministry headquarters, with the participation of a number of ministers, officials and representatives of the Egyptian and Malagasy business community, within the framework of the official visit of the Malagasy President to Cairo.
The Minister of Investment stressed that the visit of the President of Madagascar represents an important opportunity to elevate economic relations to a new stage based on transforming political understandings into joint projects and investments on the ground, which will enhance sustainable development and serve the interests of both countries.
