He noted: “Football is a leading global force in athletics, and Kenya is keenly aware of this transformation, as the success of our world-class athletes and other athletes has not only raised the country’s international profile, but has also inspired communities, stimulated investments, and paved the way for young people to turn their talents into successful career paths.

He added: ”This transformative power was clearly demonstrated during the Sports Dialogue at the University of Nairobi, where I joined my brothers, Presidents Emmanuel Macron of France, Douma Poko of Botswana, and Basiru Diomaye Faye of Senegal.”.

He emphasized: “The discussions were about the fact that Africa is a continent brimming with enormous sporting talent and untapped economic potential,” noting: “To tap into this potential, we are investing in world-class facilities, including the new Talanta stadium, and in addition to the renovation of the Kasarani and Nyayo stadiums, we are building 27 additional sports facilities across the country.”.
