In another context, the Civil Chamber of the Spanish Supreme Court announced that it had rejected the appeal filed by the Spanish League Association against the ruling of the Madrid Court of Appeal.
The Supreme Court confirmed the invalidity of the decision by Javier Tebas, president of La Liga, to prevent Real Madrid and Barcelona from attending a meeting concerning television broadcasting rights.
