Orange Telecom launches Wi-Fi service in the Rud Wuku market in Burkina Faso

In Ouagadougou, the Rue Woko market now has easy access to the internet thanks to the “WiFi Zone” service launched by Orange.
The company offers a variety of affordable packages: 30 minutes for 50 CFA francs, two hours for 100 CFA francs, one day for 200 CFA francs, one week for 900 CFA francs, and one month for 2,500 CFA francs. This service aims to meet the needs of vendors and shoppers in an environment where fiber optic installation is still complex.
Accessing the service is easy via Wi-Fi, with identity verification by phone number and payment via Orange Money.
With this initiative, Orange seeks to improve connectivity in one of the capital's largest markets.
