Ghana seeks to strengthen its economic ties with the UAE
Cooperation between Ghana and the UAE

John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, participated in the “Made in the UAE 2026” platform activities held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre “ADNEC”.
Mahama met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, today.
Ghanaian-Emirati talks
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various avenues of cooperation and opportunities for its development, particularly in the economic, trade and investment fields.

They also discussed renewable energy, innovation, technology, artificial intelligence and other areas that represent development priorities for both countries in a way that serves their common interests and brings growth and prosperity to their people.
Both sides stressed their mutual commitment to continuing cooperation and joint work to capitalize on all available opportunities to build development partnerships that support the aspirations of both countries for progress and sustainable prosperity.

Condemnation of Iranian attacks
They exchanged views on a number of issues and topics of common interest, foremost among them the developments in the Middle East region and their serious repercussions on regional and international peace and security.

In this context, John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, reiterated his condemnation of the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilians, facilities and civilian infrastructure in the UAE, which constitute a violation of state sovereignty and international law and undermine regional stability and security.
