Senegal: Textile factory opened in Diamniadio to preserve the craft from extinction

سافر رئيس جمهورية السنغال، باسيرو ديوماي فاي، على متن قطار داكار الإقليمي السريع إلى المطار، مستخدمًا قسم ديامنياديو – AIBD الجديد، الذي يقترب موعد افتتاحه. ثم باشر العمل في محطة سيبكوتان، قبل أن يفتتح مصنع AVCI Global Industrie في ديامنياديو.
ويُمثّل مصنع AVCI Global Industrie، في ديامنياديو، عودة مهنة النسيج التي كادت السنغال أن تضعها في عداد المهن المندثرة.
فبعد أن كانت البلاد تُصدّر قطنها الخام، سيجري الآن جزء من عملية التحويل محليًا. يهدف المشروع إلى توفير مئتي وظيفة، معظمها للنساء والشباب، ونقل المهارات إلى السنغال.
من خلال هذه الإنجازات الملموسة، واحدة تلو الأخرى، تعمل السنغال على بناء اقتصاد أكثر استقلالية، يخدم جميع مناطق البلاد.
السنغال تدفع نحو تعزيز الأمن الإفريقي
Like the Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee of the National Assembly In Senegal في ندوة “القادة الناشئين في قطاع الأمن 2026″، وقد نظم هذا الحدث من قبل مركز الدراسات الاستراتيجية لإفريقيا (CESA)، وعقد في جامعة الدفاع الوطني (NDU) في واشنطن العاصمة.
The symposium addressed the most prominent challenges related to security, governance, and strategic leadership in Africa.
The discussions also highlighted the need to adopt coordinated African approaches, based on the realities of the continent, in the face of cross-border threats and current geopolitical changes.
The committee chairman, Guy, affirmed his conviction that achieving sustainable security on the continent depends on preparing trained, cohesive, and committed cadres who can translate ideas into practical actions, noting that the exchange sessions have greatly strengthened this trend.
He expressed his satisfaction with the quality of the discussions and the diversity of viewpoints during this week of meetings, stressing his conviction that cooperation and developing the competencies of officials is the way to build African solutions to African challenges.
