استقبل وزير التعاون الدولي وتعزيز الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص بـ Congo، سفيرة جمهورية مصر العربية لدى جمهورية الكونغو، إيمان يعقوب، حيث بحث الجانبان سبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين.
مصر والكونغو تبحثان تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي
وأكد الطرفان أهمية عقد مشاورات دورية ومنتظمة بين البلدين لضمان متابعة أفضل للالتزامات المشتركة وتنفيذها.
وخلال اللقاء، وجهت السفيرة المصرية دعوة إلى الوزير للمشاركة في منتدى الأعمال الإفريقي، المقرر عقده في مصر خلال شهر أكتوبر المقبل، على هامش قمة التنسيق النصف سنوية للاتحاد الإفريقي. ومن المتوقع أن يشكل المنتدى فرصة جديدة لتعزيز التبادل التجاري والاستثماري بين الدول الإفريقية.
كما ناقش الجانبان الاستعدادات للدورة المقبلة للجنة العليا المشتركة للتعاون بين الكونغو ومصر، والتي من المنتظر أن تسهم في تعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية بين البلدين، من خلال إطلاق مشروعات استثمارية جديدة، وتوسيع التعاون بين الحكومة الكونغولية والشركات المصرية، خاصة عبر آلية الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص.
Egypt and Congo discuss strengthening cooperation in tourism, culture, and heritage protection
وفي سياق منفصل، التقت السفيرة إيمان ياقوت، سفيرة جمهورية Egypt The Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Congo, Jean-Claude Jacquos, following his assumption of the culture and tourism portfolio within the new government, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism.
The Egyptian Ambassador congratulated the Congolese Minister on assuming his new position, and also congratulated him on the occasion of the opening of the Congolese National Museum last May, emphasizing Egypt's aspiration to strengthen mutual tourism and receive more Congolese tourist delegations in the coming period.
Cairo is keen to broaden its horizons of cooperation.
The ambassador affirmed Cairo's keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation with the Republic of the Congo in the cultural and tourism fields, which contributes to strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging expertise between the two countries.
For his part, the Congolese Minister of Culture and Tourism, Jean Claude Jacquossot, expressed his great appreciation for Egyptian civilization, its ancient history, and its cultural heritage, affirming his country's keenness to enhance cooperation with Egypt, and to benefit from its leading expertise in museum management and operation, cultural heritage preservation, and the protection and restoration of archaeological artifacts, in addition to building the capacities of Congolese cadres in these fields.
It is mentioned that Jean-Claude Jacquot previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of the Congo in the previous government, before being tasked with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in the new cabinet.
