كينيا تبحث تعزيز صناعة الموسيقى: توسيع حضور كبرى شركات الإنتاج في نيروبي

أكدت الحكومة الكينية، التزامها بتعزيز الاقتصاد الإبداعي وترسيخ مكانة العاصمة نيروبي كمركز رئيسي لصناعة الموسيقى المسجلة في أفريقيا، وذلك عقب لقاء جمع مسؤولين كينيين مع فيكتوريا أوكلي، الرئيسة التنفيذية للاتحاد الدولي للصناعة الفونوغرافية (IFPI).
وشهد اللقاء، تأكيدًا على أهمية التعاون المشترك لتطوير قطاع الموسيقى في كينيا، بما يدعم نمو الصناعات الإبداعية ويعزز تنافسيتها على المستوى العالمي.
شركات تعلن حضورها في نيروبي
وفي خطوة تعكس الثقة المتزايدة في السوق الكينية، أعلنت كل من شركات Sony Music وUniversal Music Group وWarner Music Group موافقتها على تأسيس حضور لها في العاصمة نيروبي، في مؤشر على جاذبية البيئة الاستثمارية والإبداعية التي تعمل كينيا على تطويرها.
واعتبرت الحكومة الكينية أن هذه الخطوة تمثل شهادة ثقة في المواهب الإبداعية المحلية، والسياسات الحكومية، والإصلاحات الجارية لبناء منظومة موسيقية قادرة على المنافسة عالميًا.
وأكدت، أن المرحلة المقبلة ستركز على تنفيذ هذه التوجهات من خلال توفير بيئة داعمة لازدهار أعمال الفنانين والمنتجين والناشرين والمستثمرين، بما يسهم في خلق فرص عمل جديدة، وتعزيز صادرات القطاع الإبداعي، وفتح آفاق أوسع أمام المبدعين الكينيين.

Kenyan authorities have launched a wide-ranging investigation into a cybersecurity incident that affected the official website of the country's president, while the government has confirmed that there is no evidence so far of a breach of sensitive data or loss of official information.
Kenya’s Ministry of Information, Communications and Digital Economy said the incident was detected by the government’s Information and Communications Technology Authority, which quickly activated cybersecurity response protocols to contain the problem and limit any potential repercussions.
Urgent measures to contain the crisis and restore the site
The Kenyan government explained that it had taken a number of technical measures to address the incident, including temporarily restricting access to the presidential site, with the aim of conducting specialized digital examinations and investigations to determine the nature and source of the attack.
Authorities confirmed that cybersecurity teams are working in cooperation with relevant government agencies and technical experts to conduct a comprehensive digital forensics analysis, with the aim of determining how the incident occurred and whether there were any attempts to access other government systems.
The Kenyan government denies leaking official data.
The Ministry of Information, Communications and Digital Economy reassured citizens that government systems and digital services are still operating normally, noting that there are no indications of unauthorized access to sensitive data or any information leaks.
The government stressed that investigations are ongoing, and that the current priority is to ensure the site is fully restored and to strengthen preventive measures to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.

The incident comes amid growing challenges facing African governments in the field of cybersecurity, as reliance on digital technology expands in the management of public services and government institutions.
Experts believe that targeting official websites is not only a technical threat, but also has security and political dimensions, especially when it comes to platforms linked to presidential and governmental institutions.
