I participated in a special dialogue meeting that brought together the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, and representatives of the private sector, to discuss the implementation of the National Development Vision 2050.
I emphasized that close cooperation between the government and the private sector is essential for the successful implementation of this vision and for building a competitive, inclusive, and self-reliant economy. I also congratulated President Dr. Samia on her leadership and the inspiration she provides in the vision's implementation.

Promoting the use of technology and innovation
I encouraged increased investment, enhanced use of technology and innovation, and higher productivity in strategic sectors, while affirming the continued full cooperation of the Zanzibar Revolutionary Government with the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.
During the event, President Dr. Samia unveiled the documents for implementing the National Development Vision 2050, and witnessed the signing ceremony of declarations aimed at strengthening cooperation between the government and the private sector.
