This project is a pioneering model of cooperation between the two countries and aims to provide specialized medical services in the field of heart disease, in addition to contributing to building local medical capabilities and enhancing the efficiency of the health system.

Health data analysis

The visit also included a fundraising dinner, with the participation of the Rwandan Minister of Health, a number of senior officials, representatives of supporting bodies and partners, as well as a select group of company presidents, where ways to support the project, accelerate its completion, and enhance the contribution of various parties to its success were discussed.

In her speech during the dinner, the ambassador stressed that this visit reflects the growing momentum of the project and embodies the depth of the distinguished relations between the two countries, noting that the center represents a successful model of cooperation based on the exchange of experiences and capacity building, which contributes to improving the quality of health services provided to the citizens of Rwanda and the region as a whole.

As a continuation of those activities, the professor held Magdi Yacoub He met with the Minister of State for Health Affairs and also visited the Health Information Center, where he was briefed on the latest systems adopted in managing and analyzing health data, which supports the development of the healthcare system and enhances its efficiency.

For his part, Professor Magdi Yacoub expressed his sincere appreciation for the support provided by both sides for this vital project, stressing that the establishment of the center represents the culmination of years of joint work, with continued efforts to mobilize the necessary funding in preparation for its entry into operation as soon as possible.

The Rwandan Minister of Health also affirmed his country's commitment to supporting the project, emphasizing the importance of investing in specialized healthcare, particularly in cardiology, to strengthen the national health system and improve the quality of medical services. All parties pledged to continue their efforts until the project becomes a reality and contributes to healing the hearts of Rwandan citizens and the region.
