The Kemet Foundation and Mandela's widow explore prospects for joint cooperation.

The two sides discussed ways to implement joint initiatives with African institutions.

Ambassador Leila Bahaa El-Din, CEO of the Boutros Boutros-Ghali Foundation for Peace and Knowledge, met with Minister Graça Machel, widow of the late President Nelson Mandela and one of the most prominent African figures previously honored by the Foundation for her contributions to peace, development, and human rights, during her visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the request of Mrs. Graça Machel.

During the meeting, Ambassador Leila Bahaa El-Din conveyed the greetings of Mr. Mamdouh Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, stressing his pride in the role played by Graça Machel in serving the African continent, and the keenness of the Kemet Foundation to expand the horizons of cooperation with leading African figures and institutions.

The meeting also addressed opportunities for joint cooperation between the Kemet Foundation and similar institutions and associations in various African countries, contributing to the implementation of initiatives that serve the causes of peace and development and strengthen cooperation among the peoples of the continent.
