President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received TuesdayA telephone call from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The King of Bahrain congratulates President Sisi on Eid al-Adha

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa sent his congratulations to the President on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, wishing Egypt and its people continued progress, advancement and prosperity.

Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesperson, stated that the President appreciated this generous gesture from his brother, His Majesty the King of Bahrain, and prayed to God Almighty to bring this blessed occasion back to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab and Islamic nations with peace and blessings, and to perpetuate the blessing of security and stability upon the brotherly Bahraini people.

The official spokesperson explained that the call confirmed the depth of relations between Egypt and Bahrain, and the keenness of the leadership of both countries to strengthen them in various fields, in order to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples towards more progress and prosperity.
The call also emphasized the importance of continuing bilateral political coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.
