President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi witnessed today the graduation ceremony of the third class of imams of the Ministry of Endowments, “Imam Hassan al-Attar batch”, from the Egyptian Military Academy, which was held in the Al-Safwa Hall at the headquarters of the Strategic Command in the new capital.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the President was received upon his arrival at the Academy headquarters by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and a number of other ministers.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, added that the President began his participation in the ceremony by unveiling the plaque, officially opening the Elite Hall at the Egyptian Military Academy. He then listened to a detailed explanation of the hall presented by Major General Walid Aref, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces. The ceremony included a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech delivered by Major General Mohamed Salah El-Turki, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy. This was followed by a presentation from the Head of the Civilian Courses Branch at the Academy on the training status of the third course for imams from the Ministry of Religious Endowments, the "Imam Hassan El-Attar Cohort." A documentary film summarizing the course research was also shown, along with a French-language summary and a film about the research graduation.
The official spokesperson explained that the celebration program also included a poem recited by the most senior student, followed by a documentary film showcasing the course's success, the announcement of the graduation results, and the graduates taking the graduation oath. Young Mohamed El-Qalagi then performed a religious song. Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Religious Endowments, delivered a speech on this occasion, emphasizing the commitment to preparing a new generation of preachers who are scientifically, physically, and patriotically qualified. He praised the President's ongoing support in this regard for building a well-rounded national character. Following this, the President directed that the top ten students in the course be invited to the stage to be greeted and congratulated. He also instructed that the possibility of further training for them through postgraduate studies be explored, including the potential for sending them on educational missions abroad. The ceremony concluded with the playing of the national anthem.
The official spokesman indicated that, prior to leaving the celebration venue, the President conducted an inspection tour that included the main dining hall and the VIP lounge in the elite hall at the Egyptian Military Academy.
