On Tuesday, April 7, General Abdourahmane Tiani, President of the Republic of Niger, received Ambassador Abdou Diallo, Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Niger.
A fraternal message from President Traoré to his counterpart Tiéné
According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic of Niger, Ambassador Abdou Diallo conveyed a message of fraternal greetings from President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Burkina Faso, to his counterpart in Niger, President General Abdourahmane Tiani, President of the Republic of Niger and Head of State.

The discussions during the meeting focused on the friendly, fraternal, and cooperative relations between the two countries, which have been very strong since the National Committee for the Protection of the Homeland (CNSP) took power, he noted.
The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen the Union of Sahel States (AES).
The ambassador also confirmed that he had received instructions from the head of state, Lieutenant General Abdul Rahman Tiani, to accomplish his mission, and pledged to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting was held in the presence of the Minister of State, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, the official spokesperson for the government, and Ambassador Elo Adani, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Strategic and Diplomatic Affairs.
