Three young men died in two separate traffic accidents involving two motorcycles and a parked dump truck on National Route 2 (RN2) near the village of Guabga, in the municipality of Nio (Korwego), on the night of June 19-20, 2026, according to local sources. The truck was loaded with bricks.
The first accident occurred between a dump truck and a motorcycle that were traveling from Ouagadougou to Yakou.

According to eyewitnesses, the motorcycle collided with the parked truck. The two motorcyclists, both from Wisga in the municipality of Arbolli, died at the scene.
A few hours later, another motorcycle collided with the same vehicle, which was parked in similar circumstances, resulting in a third death.
This brings the total number of deaths to three.
After the usual procedures, the bodies were handed over to their families for burial, near the site of the tragedy, amid deep sorrow.
