The Al-Azhar mission in the Republic of Niger participated in the celebratory activities for cultural exchange in the city of Kéguéta, within the framework of the efforts made by the Islamic Research Academy of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to promote cultural communication between peoples, spread the values of peace and human understanding, and consolidate the culture of dialogue and coexistence.

The mission’s participation came as part of a series of cultural activities and events aimed at promoting dialogue between different cultures, highlighting the pivotal role played by educational and religious institutions in building community awareness, and consolidating the values of mutual respect and cooperation between nations, in a way that contributes to achieving human rapprochement and supporting community stability.

The celebration was attended by a number of religious and community leaders, along with local officials and public figures, where participants praised the role played by the Al-Azhar mission in Niger in spreading moderate thought, promoting the concepts of intellectual security, and consolidating the values of peaceful coexistence among the various components of society.
The attendees emphasized the importance of such cultural events in building bridges of communication between peoples and promoting mutual understanding between different cultures, noting that cultural and intellectual dialogue is one of the most important tools for confronting extremist ideas and promoting the values of tolerance and mutual respect.

The celebration also highlighted the efforts made by the Al-Azhar mission in serving the Nigerian community through the advocacy, educational and awareness programs it implements throughout the year, which target different age and social groups, and seek to spread correct Islamic concepts based on moderation, centrism and respect for cultural and religious diversity.
This participation comes within the framework of the cultural and advocacy activities carried out by the Al-Azhar mission in Niger, based on the global message of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif aimed at spreading the values of peace, tolerance and human coexistence, and promoting dialogue between different civilizations and cultures, in order to support development and stability efforts and strengthen the bonds of cooperation and understanding between peoples.
