Journalist Ahmed Nagi Qumha: Zoom Africa News will work to achieve representation for the African continent.

ZOOM AFRICA NEWS website officially launched

Journalist Ahmed Nagi Qumha, editor-in-chief of International Politics magazine, participated in the launch ceremony of the ZOOM AFRICA NEWS website today, in the presence of a number of Egyptian and African officials and experts specializing in African affairs.

During a speech to “Zoom Africa News” on the sidelines of the ceremony, “Qamha” stressed that the African continent represents an important file in Egyptian foreign policy, noting that there are those who sometimes portray Egypt as being far from the continent, while the reality confirms that it is always present and strongly present in its African environment.

He added that the time has come for Egypt to regain one of its soft power bases in the African continent, stressing that the “Zoom Africa News” platform can contribute to achieving this by expressing the African continent with an African voice, in line with Egyptian goals.

Qamha concluded his remarks by emphasizing that Egypt will regain its African standing and bases in the coming period, in light of the growing official and media interest in the continent, and the increasing initiatives aimed at strengthening the Egyptian presence in Africa.

ZOOM AFRICA NEWS website officially launched

 

Today, the launch event for the website was held. Zoom Africa News ZOOM AFRICA NEWS officially, in the presence of a number of Egyptian and African officials and experts specializing in African affairs.

The conference was attended by a host of officials and experts on African affairs in Egypt, headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs, Ambassador Karim Sharif, former Foreign Minister Ambassador Mohamed El-Orabi, and a number of Egyptian and African officials and public figures in Cairo.

For her part, journalist Sally Atef, Chairperson of the Board of Directors and Editor-in-Chief, announced the launch of the ZOOM AFRICA NEWS website in three languages: Arabic, English, and French, to be the first African portal for news.
