Egypt and Djibouti cooperation

Lamis Mohamed, the Attorney General of the Republic of Djibouti, received Ambassador Abdel Rahman Raafat, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Djibouti, where the meeting addressed ways to enhance the frameworks of judicial cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides discussed ways to develop cooperation in the field of training and exchange of experiences, through organizing specialized training programs and building institutional partnerships between the relevant judicial authorities, in order to raise the efficiency of personnel and enhance the quality of judicial performance.
Mechanisms of the judicial system
The mechanisms of the judicial system in Djibouti were also reviewed, particularly the procedural aspects related to the conduct of lawsuits, pleading procedures, deliberation mechanisms and the issuance of judgments, within the framework of exchanging views and comparative experiences between the two sides.
The meeting also touched on exploring possibilities for cooperation in the areas of digital transformation of the judicial system, exchanging visits between members of the Public Prosecution, and benefiting from the Egyptian experience in developing the institutional and legislative structure, in order to enhance the efficiency of effective justice.
This meeting comes in the context of the shared desire to push bilateral cooperation in the judicial field to broader horizons, in a way that serves common interests and reflects the depth of relations between the two countries.
