The Libyan coast witnessed A new tragedyAfter 23 people died off its coast, in an illegal migration attempt towards Europe.
The victims died in two incidents, the first of which was the sinking of a boat carrying irregular migrants last night off the coast of the city of Tobruk in the east of the country.
Six bodies recovered
Indeed, 4 people were rescued, but 6 others died and are believed to be irregular migrants, and the search continues for the rest of the missing, according to the Libyan Red Crescent.

The second incident occurred when the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Health of the Interim Government of National Unity, announced the recovery of 17 bodies of migrants that had been swept by the waves to the shores of the city of Zuwara in the west and the surrounding areas.
Burial of the bodies
Fourteen bodies were buried in accordance with legal and humanitarian regulations, while others were transferred body One was taken to Tripoli after his identity was confirmed. He is an immigrant from Bangladesh, and he was handed over to his family.
Procedures are continuing for the two remaining cases.
For its part, the Libyan authorities expressed their regret for these incidents, stressing the continued efforts of the coast guard and medical teams in search and rescue operations and in handling the bodies with respect.
