President Sisi directs that the highest levels of care be provided to Egyptians abroad.

The President meets with the Foreign Minister

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met on Monday with Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad.

Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the meeting addressed the latest regional and international developments, and the Egyptian efforts exerted to implement the President’s directives in this regard.

The President stressed the importance of continuing and intensifying cooperation with friendly countries to resolve the region’s crises, working to avoid escalation, and seeking to address the current situation through negotiations and peaceful means, in a way that enhances regional and international security and stability.

The President stressed Egypt’s categorical rejection of any attacks on Arab countries, affirming Egypt’s firm position based on protecting the stability of the region and preserving the sovereignty of its countries.

The official spokesperson added that the Foreign Minister also reviewed the Ministry’s efforts in caring for Egyptian citizens abroad, noting its keenness to continuously develop consular services through expanding digital transformation and launching new initiatives in cooperation with state institutions, in order to meet the needs of Egyptians abroad and ensure the speed and efficiency of their access to services.

In this context, the President directed that the highest levels of care be provided to the sons of the nation abroad, and that communication channels with Egyptian communities be intensified.

Strengthening relations in various fields

In a different context, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held a telephone conversation today, Monday, with President William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that President Sisi praised, during the call, the remarkable development witnessed in the bilateral relations between Egypt and Kenya.

The President stressed the importance of continuing to work on strengthening these relations in various areas of common interest, particularly in the economic, trade and investment aspects, in order to achieve the development goals of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

The depth of fraternal and historical ties

Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesperson, added that the Kenyan President expressed his agreement with what the President had proposed, praising the momentum and progress witnessed in bilateral relations, and stressing his country’s keenness to continue cooperation with Egypt to elevate these relations in a manner befitting the depth of the fraternal and historical ties between the two countries, and expressing his hope that President El-Sisi would visit Kenya.
