A Greek business mission to Zambia to promote investment and trade partnerships at the end of May

The Hellenic-Zambian Chamber of Commerce invites companies to participate in Lusaka events.

The Greek Chamber of Commerce announced Zambian Organizing a Greek business mission to Zambia, from May 25 to 27, 2026, at the Mulungushi Convention Centre, with the participation of companies, institutions and investors from both countries.

In a statement, the chamber called on Zambian companies and strategic partners to join the mission, which aims to strengthen economic cooperation between Greece ZambiaIt opens new horizons for investment and building sustainable business partnerships.

Supporting investment opportunities and trade cooperation

The mission focuses on exploring joint investment opportunities, developing bilateral trade relations, and exchanging experiences between Greek and Zambian companies, particularly in vital sectors that are a priority for both sides.

The event is expected to feature bilateral meetings between business leaders, specialized discussion sessions, and presentations of investment projects, all of which will contribute to strengthening economic cooperation and creating new opportunities for growth.

Strategic sectors on the agenda

The key sectors targeted in the business mission include a number of vital areas, most notably agricultural technology and agricultural manufacturing, renewable energy including solar and geothermal energy, along with information and communication technology and financial technology.

Cooperation also extends to the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries, the construction and infrastructure sector, education and vocational training, as well as the development of tourism and ecotourism.

Focus on logistics and the green economy

The mission pays particular attention to the logistics and supply chain sectors, as well as recycling and waste management, within the framework of the drive towards supporting the green economy and promoting sustainability.

The proposed areas of cooperation also include transport and mobility solutions, aquaculture and fish farming, as well as promoting trade in branded Greek products and exploring joint import opportunities.

Greek-Zambian Chamber of Commerce

The Greek-Zambian Chamber of Commerce is a strategic platform aimed at bridging the economic distances between Athens and Lusaka, focusing primarily on promoting trade and facilitating the flow of Greek investments into the promising Zambian market.

The Chamber plays a vital role in introducing Greek investors to opportunities in vital sectors such as mining, agriculture, and renewable energy, while providing the necessary advisory and logistical support to ensure the success of partnerships between the private sectors in both countries.

From an organizational standpoint, the Chamber is active in organizing trade missions and economic forums, most notably the upcoming trade mission to Zambia in May 2026, which aims to build direct relationships with senior Zambian officials and businessmen.

The Chamber works in close coordination with official bodies such as the Zambian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) to promote cooperation in the areas of digital innovation and vocational education, contributing to the creation of a sustainable business environment that serves common interests and supports Greek expansion in the African continent.
