Minister of State for Women's Affairs in the Libyan government, Entisar Abboud, participated in the inauguration ceremony of the official headquarters of the Ministry of African Affairs in the city of Benghazi. This step reflects the government's direction towards strengthening coordination among its various institutions and supporting cooperation in files with a regional dimension, especially regarding relations with African countries.

The minister's participation in the opening ceremony, held Thursday in the city of Benghazi, came in response to an invitation extended by the Minister of African Affairs, Advisor Issa Abdelmajeed, amid an official attendance that included a number of members of the Libyan government, in addition to diplomatic representatives and officials from state institutions.

The opening of the Ministry of African Affairs headquarters in Benghazi reflects a trend towards strengthening cooperation with the continent.

The occasion was attended by the Consuls General of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Sudan, in addition to the head of the National Committee for Monitoring the Status of Prisoners and Prisons, and a number of official figures, in a scene that reflected the interest of the Libyan government in strengthening its institutional presence and developing mechanisms for joint work between various sectors.

The Libyan government affirmed that the participation of the Minister of State for Women's Affairs comes within the framework of supporting coordination and integration efforts between state institutions, which enhances the effectiveness of government performance, contributes to unifying efforts aimed at serving national interests, and achieves development in various fields.

The opening of the official headquarters of the Ministry of African Affairs represents a new step in the path of activating the ministry's role, in line with the developments in Libyan-African relations and strengthening communication with the continent's countries, given Africa's strategic depth for Libya on political, economic, and security levels.

The opening of the headquarters reflects the government's interest in establishing an institutional structure capable of managing cooperation with African countries, expanding horizons of bilateral and multilateral partnerships, serving common interests, and supporting stabilization and development efforts.

The opening ceremony concluded by emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation and coordination among various state institutions, and strengthening joint governmental action to positively reflect on the performance of public institutions, and contribute to meeting the aspirations of the Libyan people for more stability and development, in addition to supporting Libya's presence in its African neighborhood, and consolidating cooperative relations with the countries of the continent in various fields.
