Trump: Iran will never get a nuclear weapon... and their officials contacted us today
Trump's remarks about Iran today
US President Donald Trump made new statements a short while ago regarding the ongoing crisis between his country and Iran.
Trump said during a press conference at the White House: Iran will never get a nuclear weapon... and there will be no agreement without that.
No nuclear weapons for Iran
Trump stressed: Iran will not have a nuclear weapon... We will recover the nuclear dust one way or another.
He emphasized that Iran had not agreed not to possess nuclear weapons.
He continued: There is no fighting now, there is a blockade, and the Iranians are not conducting any business.

Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, he emphasized: No country can blackmail the world by closing the Strait of Hormuz. We do not use the Strait of Hormuz, we do not need it, and we have more oil and gas than we need.
He stated that there are many tankers and ships heading towards the United States to load oil.
Blockade of Iranian ports
Regarding the blockade of Iranian ports, he stressed that: “There are countries that will participate in the naval blockade… We do not need other countries to participate in the blockade of Iranian ports,” adding that many American presidents regret not taking steps regarding Iran.
In a notable development, Trump revealed: “We received a call this morning from the right people regarding Iran,” indicating that the negotiating channel is still open.

He stated: The Chinese president wants to see this matter resolved.
They also spoke about Cuba, saying: Cuba is a failed state and we may turn to it after we finish with Iran.
