In his speech, he stressed that current global challenges, including economic, technological and political transformations, require African countries to reformulate their development tools to ensure a genuine and sustainable transformation capable of keeping pace with rapid global changes, emphasizing that the continent possesses the human and natural resources that qualify it to play a greater role in the global system.

He pointed out that the knowledge and academic experience gained at Cambridge University represents a key pillar that can contribute to accelerating the pace of change within the African continent, through the transfer of experiences, the promotion of innovation, and capacity building.

He also stressed the importance of empowering African youth and actively involving them in transformation and development processes, as they are the driving force for the continent's future, explaining that investment in education, skills and innovation is the real key to achieving sustainable development.

He concluded his speech by emphasizing his commitment to supporting efforts aimed at strengthening the role of youth and empowering them to participate in decision-making and building the future of Africa, in order to achieve the aspirations of the African peoples for development and prosperity.

Expanding study and training opportunities in Mali

In a separate context, it witnessed financial Extensive government actions took place during the cabinet meeting held at the Koulouba Palace in the capital, Bamako, chaired by interim President Assimi Goïta, where the decisions focused on education, development and international cooperation, in addition to strengthening local administration and addressing health and environmental challenges.

Among the decisions, the council approved the allocation of a plot of land in the Kolokani area to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in preparation for the establishment of a new university in the Kollikoro region.

The project comes as part of the higher education reform plan, with the aim of expanding study and training opportunities and linking university specializations to the needs of the labor market and the requirements of local development.
