The remains of a businessman who disappeared in South Africa were found inside a crocodile's stomach (video).

The police killed the crocodile and transported it by plane.

South Africa witnessed one of the most tragic human stories when police found the remains of a 59-year-old businessman inside the stomach of a crocodile.

It all started when the Komati River overflowed in the east of the country, sweeping away his car, and the police completely lost track of him.

4-meter-long crocodile

But several days later they found the remains of his body and shoes belonging to other people, inside the stomach of a crocodile that was more than 4 meters long.

The police brought in the crocodile and examined it to extract human remains.

He confirmed that, as a police officer, he was certain that it belonged to the missing man, but they were waiting for the results of the DNA test to be absolutely sure.

The water swept the car away

The victim was preparing to cross a bridge near the river in his car when it was swept away by the water. Police found it empty on the riverbank.

Once the car was found, the search for the missing man began in the crocodile-infested area, with the help of a helicopter from the emergency medical services that came to assist.

The plane did indeed spot the crocodiles in the same location where they had been for the past four days.

After they left, the police continued working with drones and found that the crocodiles were still in the same place. With their long experience in this field and the training they had received, they succeeded in identifying a crocodile that they were certain had eaten the man they were looking for.

The crocodile was transported by plane

The police immediately killed the crocodile and transported it by plane. It was 4.5 meters long and weighed 500 kilograms. The police found human remains inside its stomach, and a set of shoes was also found that may indicate that it had eaten other people.

The police officer said this might show that crocodiles are active in that area, and that they eat almost anything that passes in front of them.
