The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs announced that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, will hold a number of meetings tomorrow, Saturday, June 21, 2026, as part of Egyptian efforts to enhance consultation and coordination with regional and international partners on issues of common interest.
A bilateral meeting with the senior advisor to the US President
The Foreign Minister will begin his meetings with a bilateral meeting with Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor to the US President for Arab and African Affairs, where the meeting is expected to address a number of regional and international issues, in addition to ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides.
A tripartite meeting including Egypt, Sudan and the United States
As part of the multilateral consultations, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty is holding a tripartite meeting with Mosaad Boulos and Sudanese Foreign Minister Ambassador Mohi El-Din Salem.
The meeting is expected to discuss developments in Sudan, along with a number of regional issues of common interest, in light of international efforts to support security and stability in the region.
Egyptian-Turkish-American talks on regional issues
The Foreign Minister will conclude his meetings with a trilateral meeting that includes Massad Boulos and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The discussions are expected to cover the most prominent current regional issues, as well as strengthening coordination and consultation mechanisms among the participating parties regarding developments in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified that all meetings will be held at the Tahrir Palace in Cairo, noting that media coverage will be limited to taking commemorative photos at the beginning of the meetings, without holding press conferences or extensive media statements.
Egypt plays an active role in promoting regional dialogue.
These meetings reflect the continuation of Egyptian diplomatic efforts aimed at supporting dialogue and consultation with various international and regional parties, in order to contribute to strengthening regional stability and advancing efforts to address the crises and challenges facing the region.
