Liverpool FC have reached an agreement with Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola to take over from Dutchman Arne Slot, according to media reports on Tuesday.
Liverpool have reached an agreement with the Spanish coach, in principle, to lead the team for the coming years, according to reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Romano explained in a tweet on his X platform account that talks had progressed significantly in the last 48 hours between Liverpool and Iraola, with the latter being chosen to take over coaching the team following Ernie Slot.

Liverpool had previously announced that Slot would leave his position as manager of the team, following the end of the Premier League season, after failing to lead the team to any title this season.
The Red Devils' train stopped at fifth place in the English Premier League standings, in addition to losing their dressing room and having many crises with players, most notably the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah.
Mohamed Salah's departure from Liverpool
The Egyptian star bid farewell Mohamed SalahAnfield Stadium, in the final round of the Premier League, at a pivotal moment in the club's history over the last decade, in recognition of the great effort and difference the player has made with the team since joining in the summer of 2017 from Roma.
During his time with the Reds, Salah has become one of the world’s most prominent players, leading the team to achieve a number of major titles, most notably the 2019 Champions League and the 2019-2020 Premier League, ending the club’s 30-year drought of a domestic title.
Salah contributed with record numbers, becoming one of the club's all-time top scorers, and winning several individual awards, including the Premier League Golden Boot more than once, in addition to being selected for the tournament's ideal lineup in multiple seasons.
Talk about his future after Liverpool is somewhat vague, whether it be embarking on a new experience in other European leagues, or moving to Gulf clubs by contract.
Salah's departure marked the end of a golden era associated with his name at Anfield, where he was one of the prominent stars in coach Jurgen Klopp's project, which restored Liverpool's status on the European stage.
His departure is expected to leave a significant technical and marketing void, given his value on and off the field, which puts the club's management in front of a challenge to rebuild the attacking line and maintain the team's competitiveness in the coming seasons.
