Chad launches the second edition of the National Youth Excellence Award
The award aims to discover young talent and promote innovation.

The second edition of the National Youth Excellence Award was launched this Friday evening at the National School of Administration. ChadChaired by the Minister of State, Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Award, Mustafa Mohamed Masri.

The ceremony was attended by members of the award’s Supreme and Technical Committee, as well as heads of major institutions, members of the government, members of the National Assembly, advisors to the Presidency, deans of universities and heads of academies, as well as representatives and leaders of youth organizations and associations.

The award falls under the fourth project of the political program of the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Mohamed Idriss Déby Itno, dedicated to supporting youth, and bears the slogan: «Every young person matters, and every talent deserves recognition.» It aims to create a comprehensive national platform to discover, reward, and mentor young talents from across the country, encouraging excellence and creativity, and fostering a spirit of initiative and innovation in scientific, cultural, social, and developmental fields.
The award also aims to support and empower young people to actively contribute to national development. Applications for this second edition are now open nationwide.
Chad strengthens legal memory and launches the digital platform for the Official Gazette
In a separate context, the General Secretariat of the Government today launched the digital platform of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chad, during an official ceremony attended by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Ambassador Allah May Halina, along with a number of members of the government and international partners, including representatives of the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme.
The Minister and Secretary-General of the Government affirmed that launching the platform represents an important step towards modernizing public administration and preserving the legal memory of the state.
She explained that it provides access to legal and regulatory texts issued since independence in both Arabic and French, in addition to publishing public procurement documents to promote transparency and ease of access to information.
