The project organizers emphasized that the competition provides a platform to stimulate a spirit of positive competition among neighborhoods and local communities, and to encourage collective participation in efforts to maintain a cleaner and more sustainable urban environment.
This initiative comes as part of the ongoing efforts by local authorities to address the environmental challenges associated with rapid urban growth, and to strengthen the role of citizens as key partners in improving public spaces and preserving public health.
