وتناول اللقاء فرص الاستفادة من الخبرات المصرية المتقدمة في مجالات تنظيم وتسجيل الأدوية، وتطوير المنظومة الدوائية، ودعم سلاسل الإمداد الطبية، بما يسهم في تحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية في الجابون.

ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار التحضيرات لمشاركة رئيس هيئة الدواء الجابونية، ممثلًا عن وزيرة الصحة، في مؤتمر Africa Health ExCon، المقرر عقده في القاهرة خلال الفترة من 16 إلى 18 يونيو الجاري، والذي يُعد أحد أبرز الفعاليات الصحية في القارة الإفريقية، ويجمع نخبة من الخبراء وصناع القرار في قطاع الصحة والدواء.

Gabonese interest in Egyptian medicine

وفي سياق منفصل،التقت السفيرة ريهام حسين عمار، سفيرة جمهورية مصر العربية لدى GabonWith Ms. Annie Josette Poitier, President of the National Office of Medicines, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation with the Egyptian Drug Authority, and to identify opportunities for exporting Egyptian medicine to Gabon, especially in light of Egypt obtaining the Level 3 Maturity Certificate for medicines from the World Health Organization.

The meeting addressed prospects for developing cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector between the two countries, including supporting the exchange of expertise and strengthening technical and regulatory partnerships, in addition to discussing mechanisms to facilitate the entry of Egyptian pharmaceutical products into the Gabonese market.

Both sides emphasized the importance of benefiting from the development achieved by the Egyptian pharmaceutical industry and the global quality standards it has reached, in order to support pharmaceutical security in Gabon and expand the scope of health cooperation between the two sides.
