The future of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah continues to interest football fans, after he came close to embarking on a new experience in the Turkish league through Besiktas club, but negotiations between the two parties have hit a final obstacle that has prevented the official announcement of the deal so far.
According to media reports, Besiktas entered into advanced negotiations with the Egyptian national team captain after the end of his time with Liverpool at the end of last season, as the Turkish club placed Salah at the top of its priorities to strengthen its ranks during the current summer transfer window.
Financial dispute delays resolution
Although Besiktas management made a huge financial offer worth around 20 million euros annually, negotiations were temporarily halted due to some financial details related to the contract.
The main point of contention is the percentage of revenue from the player's shirt sales, as Mohamed Salah's representatives are seeking a percentage of the profits from shirt sales, while negotiations are still ongoing to reach a formula that satisfies all parties.

Reports confirm that this clause is the last obstacle to completing the deal, which means that the Egyptian star's move to the Turkish team is still very much on the table and has not been ruled out.
Besiktas insists on signing the Egyptian star
Despite the temporary freeze in negotiations, Besiktas remains the most serious contender in the race to sign Mohamed Salah, having submitted the highest financial offer among all clubs interested in acquiring his services.
Sources indicate that the Turkish club's management remains committed to completing the deal, with ongoing communications to resolve outstanding issues and reach a final agreement in the coming days.
An open future after the end of Liverpool's journey
Mohamed Salah's future remains open to all possibilities, given the interest of other clubs in acquiring his services, while neither the player nor his agent has issued any official announcement regarding his next destination.
Salah brought to a close this summer an exceptional nine-year career with Liverpool, during which he achieved many accomplishments, most notably winning the Premier League and Champions League titles, in addition to cementing his status as one of the most prominent players in the club's history.
As negotiations continue, Egyptian and Turkish football fans are eagerly awaiting the next few hours, which could see one of the most prominent deals of the summer transfer market finalized, if the two sides succeed in overcoming the final financial obstacle.
