To benefit from their expertise, Egypt is holding a conference for its citizens living abroad.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry invites its citizens abroad to an annual conference.

The Ministry called Foreign Ministry Egyptians are calling on members of Egyptian communities around the world to participate in the seventh edition of the Conference of Egyptians Abroad, scheduled to be held on August 2 and 3, 2026 in Cairo, under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, and in the presence of Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aty, along with a number of ministers and senior officials.
The organization of the conference this year comes within the framework of the state’s direction to enhance direct communication with Egyptians abroad, and to listen to their visions and proposals on issues that affect their interests, in order to contribute to integrating them more into national development plans, and to benefit from their expertise in various fields.

The ministry confirmed that the seventh edition of the conference will be held in a different format based on specialized workshops, addressing a number of vital topics, most notably investment opportunities for Egyptians abroad, education issues, and the role of Egyptian youth abroad, in addition to discussing the mental health of Egyptians and their children in the diaspora, and their insurance, as well as addressing the fields of financial technology and artificial intelligence.

The conference is scheduled to include a general opening session, in addition to a session dedicated to consular services provided to Egyptians abroad, and another session that brings together representatives of communities and members of the House of Representatives and the Senate concerned with the file of Egyptians abroad, which enhances institutional dialogue and allows challenges to be presented directly to decision-makers.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the number of places available to attend the conference is limited, as the registration deadline is approaching, and called on those wishing to participate to quickly register their data via the official website of the conference, while fulfilling the required documents.
She noted that once the registration process is completed, the applicant will receive a message confirming receipt of their data, and invitations to attend will be sent via email after reviewing the applications, according to the available numbers.
The ministry concluded its statement by emphasizing its keenness to strengthen communication with Egyptians abroad, expressing its appreciation for their national role, and its hope for broad participation that will contribute to the success of the conference and the achievement of its goals.
