Within the framework of the pivotal role played by the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development in supporting and building capacities in the countries of the continent African Ambassador Nermin El-Zawahry, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Secretary-General of the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development, participated in the closing ceremony of a specialized training course in the field of “Internet of Things”, which was organized in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

The course witnessed outstanding participation from 15 trainees representing 13 sister African countries, in a clear affirmation of the depth of Egyptian-African relations, and Egypt’s keenness to transfer its technical and technological expertise to young African cadres.
Supporting sustainable development in African countries
In her speech during the closing ceremony, the ambassador stressed the agency’s commitment to continuing its efforts in supporting sustainable development in African countries, through organizing training programs and building capacities in modern technological fields, especially the Internet of Things, as it is one of the main pillars of digital transformation and promoting innovation.

She also praised the constructive cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the role it plays in supporting advanced technology industries, expressing her hope for more fruitful partnerships that contribute to achieving common development.
Building models for cooperation and partnerships
At the conclusion of the event, course completion certificates were handed over to the trainees, amid widespread praise for the level of the training program and the scientific content provided, reflecting Egypt’s keenness to build models of cooperation and partnerships that would achieve progress in various fields of development for the peoples of our African continent.
